Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. General
These terms govern the use of the website at vuplate.com (the "Site"). The Site is operated by PMFOR, a sole proprietorship registered in Poland's CEIDG register, with its registered address at ul. Dębowa 11 lok. 10, 43-225 Wola, Poland, tax ID (NIP) 6381756205 ("we", "us"). Contact: contact@vuplate.com.
By using the Site, you accept these terms. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the Site.
2. What the Site is
The Site is informational: it presents the VuPlate service (3D scanning of restaurant dishes and QR codes that let guests view a dish in 3D before ordering) and lets you get in touch about working with us through the contact form.
The product itself, the restaurant partner panel and the guest-facing QR scanning experience, runs under the separate domain app.vuplate.com and may be subject to separate terms agreed individually with each restaurant partner in a dedicated agreement. These terms cover only the use of vuplate.com.
3. Technical requirements
To use the Site you need a device with internet access and a web browser that supports JavaScript, released within the last two years. The vuplate.com site itself works in any current browser, on a computer or a phone. Viewing a dish in augmented reality (AR) after scanning a QR code on a restaurant menu additionally requires: on iPhone, iOS 12 or later with Safari; on Android, Android 8 or later with Chrome and Google Play Services installed. We don't guarantee correct operation of the Site on devices or browsers that don't meet these requirements.
4. Contact form
By submitting the contact form, you agree to provide accurate information (an email and phone number you can actually be reached at). How we process the data you submit is covered by a separate document, our Privacy Policy.
Submitting the form is not a contract for VuPlate services, it's an expression of interest, after which we'll reach out with an offer. The actual terms of any cooperation (scope, price, timeline) are agreed separately.
5. Acceptable use
By using the Site, you agree not to:
- submit another person's data through the form without their consent,
- use the form to send spam, third-party advertising, or content unrelated to an inquiry about VuPlate,
- attempt automated, bulk submission of the form (bots, scripts),
- attempt to disrupt the Site or bypass its security measures.
6. Prohibition on unlawful content
Under Polish law governing the provision of electronic services (art. 8 of the Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of electronic services), you are prohibited from submitting unlawful content, in particular through the contact form. This includes, among other things, content that infringes the rights of third parties (including copyright and personal rights), discriminatory content, content inciting violence or hatred, fraudulent content, and malicious software. If we determine that content sent to us has this character, we reserve the right to remove it and to decline further contact on that matter.
7. Intellectual property
The content, design, source code, and visual materials of the Site are the property of PMFOR and are protected by copyright. Copying, redistributing, or reusing these materials without our written permission is prohibited, except as allowed by law.
8. Liability
We do our best to keep the Site running correctly and available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation: there may be technical downtime, including for maintenance or circumstances outside our control (e.g. hosting provider outages). To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect damages arising from the Site being unavailable or interrupted.
3D models and photos shown on the Site (including in the live QR code demo section) are for demonstration purposes and illustrate how the service works.
9. Complaints
Complaints about the Site can be sent to contact@vuplate.com. We respond within 14 days of receiving your message.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, in particular if how the Site works changes, or the law requires it. We'll flag material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. The current version is always available at vuplate.com/en/terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent court under applicable regulations.
