August 2026, the terrace at Green Pub Sjesta. The dish stands on the table, the owner circles it with his own iPhone 16 Pro running our app. That is all the equipment it takes to make a model.
TEN DISHES, ONE PHONE
It is a tourist resort. Guests arrive from all over the country and abroad, sit down with a menu in a cuisine they do not know, and have no idea how big the portion is or what will land on their plate. The photo on the menu shows the dish on paper. It shows none of its actual size.
No photographer, no studio, no visit from anyone outside the restaurant. The dish goes on the table, the phone circles it twice, the model is ready in a few minutes. The QR code then sits next to the menu item and stays there for good.
That is how the ten items were made that Green Pub Sjesta has shown guests since August 1. The menu itself did not change: same paper, same binding, same page layout. Only a small code was added next to the name.
WHAT HAPPENED OVER A MONTH
The first week alone brought 391 scans, because everyone who saw the code for the first time scanned it. The next three weeks held steady between 284 and 334. This is no longer a first-day curiosity. It is something the guest does every time.
This is real data about Green Pub Sjesta’s guests. It shows exactly which dish they looked at, and how many times, before ordering.
MOST SCANNED DISHES
The codes below are the same ones sitting on this restaurant’s tables today. Scan one with your phone or click the dish, and you will see exactly what the guest sees before placing an order.
We describe the same mechanism, from a technical angle, on the homepage.
WHAT YOU HEAR AT THE TABLES
That is what a guest says after scanning the code, before the waiter even reaches the table. The image needs no translation into any language.
